Car Audio Installation Program
The electronics in today’s cars and trucks are integrated in a way that makes it very difficult to add aftermarket equipment. To successfully work with these newer vehicles, it’s important that technicians have a full understanding of the installation process and how to integrate aftermarket electronics. It takes a specific type of training that only Installer Institute can provide. At Installer Institute, students first spend time in the classroom learning the basics, and then applying and refining what they’ve learned working on real class projects. Our curriculum has been carefully designed by our professional faculty with the needs of the student in mind, the install bay, fabrication shop, and sound room are fully stocked with the tools, hardware and test equipment you would find in a well equipped car audio shop. Students will get to explore everything from electricity and electronics to the fabrication techniques used by the industry’s most respected custom installers.
Installer Institute's car audio training program is broken down into ten, one week courses. Each course gives the student ample opportunity to get hands-on training working on real vehicles. Students will build eight unique projects designed to allow their individual creativity to shine through.
Our course calendar shows the start dates of all our classes. Because we are the #1 car audio school we can offer 9 different start dates each year to accommodate any schedule.
The Mobile Electronics Schools Association (MESA) is a nationally recognized Car Audio certification that evaluates a student's knowledge and hands on skills.
