Curriculum
The electronics in today’s vehicles are integrated in a way that makes it very difficult to add aftermarket equipment. To successfully work with these newer cars, it’s important that students have a full understanding of the installation process and how to integrate aftermarket electronics. It takes a specific type of training that only the Installer Institute can provide. At Installer Institute, students first spend time in the classroom to learn the basics, and then apply and refine what they’ve learned working on class projects. Our facility has been carefully designed with the needs of the student in mind, the installbay, fabrication shop, and soundroom are fully stocked with the tools, hardware and test equipment you would find in a well equipped car audio shop. Students will explore everything from electricity and electronics to the fabrication techniques used by the industry’s most respected custom installers.
Course List & Sequence
Installer Institute's car audio training program is broken down into ten, one week courses. Each course gives the student ample opportunity to get hands-on training working on real vehicles. Students will build eight unique projects designed to allow their individual creativity to shine through.
Certifications
